Ma’am Sir: Hipster-style Filipino Food in Los Angeles

The hipster-style Filipino food at Ma’am Sir is trending upwards in the Los Angeles Food Scene. My friends and I had a great dining experience checking out LA’s newest chef-driven Filipino restaurant. Expect flavorful and hearty Filipino comfort food created by Filipino Chef Charles Olalia and a rather cozy yet vibrant cocktail scene that rivals any other bar scene in LA.

Not sure what to order, because you never tried Filipino food? I recommend ordering the following dishes:

Shrimp Mousse Spring Rolls (Lumpia).
Calamansi Rice Noodles (Pancit).
Crispy Pork Belly (Lechon).
Sizzling Pork Sisig.
Chicken Adobo.
Beef Oxtail Kare Kare
The Barbecued Kabocha Squash.

Yes, we made room for the Mango Tamarind Verrine for dessert. All the best to Chef Charles Olalia and Ma’am Sir. We’ll be back for the brunch too.

Filipino Cuisine. $$. Cash and credit cards accepted. Valet parking. Limited street parking. Beer, wine, cocktails. Bar scene.
