The 2018 Le Dîner En Blanc In Los Angeles Draws Thousands For An End Of Summer Soirée

Le Dîner En Blanc is an annual food event in which registered invitees know the secret location the French White Party and Picnic on the day of the event. Originating in Paris, France, it became an international food event and eventually led itself to Los Angeles as an end of summer soirée. It’s a requirement to wear elegant white clothing and a must to bring your own gourmet picnic food, table, chairs, and fancy white table décor.

The 2018 Le Dîner en Blanc in Los Angeles was secretly held at The Exposition Park Rose Gardens in proximity of many museums, USC, and The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. A good portion of the invited guests arrived by bus, rode the Metro, or walked just a distance away from the secret location.

My cousin and I were the lucky group to have walked across the museums to the Rose Gardens. It was our second time attending this French Party and yes, it was a lot of fun as you can tell from the video. There were almost 3,000 invited guests on Saturday September 29, 2018. It was an evening filled with great food, wine, like-minded people, and music to dance the night away.
