I really, truly, absolutely love this deconstructed Halo Halo; a Filipino dessert by @kalankitchen (a Filipino dinner pop-up in Orange County, California). Their version was imaginative and just plain crazy, but they pulled it of. Love the Calamansi Curd and that Ube Crumble. Also in their version of Halo Halo was cashew dacquoise, pandan pearls, brown sugar, and a toasted coconut sorbet. Not pictured was a sweet Red Bean broth to drizzle on top. There was no evaporated milk or shaved ice, which is normally incorporated in a traditional Halo Halo.
