Daikokuya delights the palates of Ramen Fanantics in Little Tokyo

It never fails that I often get asked for good places to eat around the Los Angeles area. Like any highly intelligent person, I respond with a question, “Well, how far are you willing to drive for good food in L.A.?” Then I make my recommendation and leave it up to them to decide their willingness to bear with the L.A. traffic. You see, Daikokuya, a Japanese Ramen House in Downtown Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo community, is one such place that is always worth driving to for good food. Their iconic big bowl of Ramen and divey atmosphere are what brings the customers and those Ramen Fanatics back for more and more good food.

There are only two types of ramen that they serve at Daikokuya, one with soup and one without it. The Daikoku Ramen is the flagship item on the menu served with plenty of pork broth. For a more thicker and flavorful pork broth, I always order the Kotteri Ramen.
